WHere is a home-style version of a drink featured on a new cocktail list. Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed that's loaded with the tastes of a holiday season, making it excellent for a festive gathering. Reserve the remaining cordial for brunch beverages, puddings, or for more rounds of bikinis.
Bikini Recipe
Yields 10 guests
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Cocktail (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (as made above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
To prepare the Cordial: Combine all the items into a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing until the sugar dissolves. After that, turn off the stove and let it to cool entirely. Transfer into an sterilised bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, it can be stored for about four weeks.
For the Premix: Mix the specified spirits and syrup in a large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then strain , ideally through a fine cloth, to ensure it's fully clarified.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your cocktail base to a stirring glass containing ice, and stir lightly for about 60 seconds until cold. Pour into an cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries adding the final touch with a quick spritz of the essential oil over the drink.
